A TIE-Punisher lights up an unfortunate Z-95 Headhunter and some asteroids with cluster mines

A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away …

… the Rebel Alliance and the Imperium clash, as enemy bombers and their escort face off.

Armed to the teeth and loaded with explosives, K-Wings and TIE-Punishers weave between asteroids to blow up the enemy with heavy ordnance.

The Game – Bombs, Lasers & Unexpected Rebels Victory

There was little subtlety involved, as fully loaded enemy bombers went directly after each other and the squadrons clashed in a tangled fray of ships, asteroids and explosives.

TIE-Fighters burned and a B-Wing was quickly incinerated by a merciless TIE-Defender, while the bombers circled each other, looking for opportunities to drop their Ion Bombs and Cluster Mines.

The Imperium quickly gained the upper hand, or so it seemed, shooting down all the rebel ships with the exception of a lone K-Wing, and only loosing two TIE pilots fresh from the academy.

Yet, against all odds, the stoic K-Wing managed to elude his pursuers repeatedly, chipped away at the Imperium’s finest with his twin laser turret, and eked out an unlikely victory for the Rebels.
